Latin American Chef Alex Moreno was born in Havana, Cuba, home of our signature Mojitos. He was trained in one of the best schools for Latin American Chefs in Cuba famous for its Cuban and European cuisine.
His culinary career began at Cohiba Hotel and he polished his culinary skills in several restaurants in Havana, Cuba, before bringing Cuban cuisine to Vietnam. His interest in culinary had him creating menus for various restaurants in Vietnam which inspired the creation of his Summer Crab Rolls with his very own chili dip.
Chef Alex Moreno’s love for sharing Latin American cuisine has brought him to Cuba Libre Singapore where he has taken inspiration from local ingredients and cuisine to create his all new modern Latin American tapas which includes Beef Rendang Croquetas and Crispy Roast Pork.
His signature must-try Latin American dishes at both Cuba Libre outlets include his Sandwich Cubano which is made with Cuban bread, Havana Burger that uses a roasted beef sirloin steak instead of a regular beef patty, Ropa Vieja and Mojito Chicken that’s his unique recipe.
Chef Alex Moreno’s passion for Latin American cuisine has got him creating his Empanadas, Cuban Sauces, Nachos from scratch which has guests always coming back for more.
